Independent Shops in Cramlington

Cramlington is a new town built around a covered shopping centre, so most of its shopping is in national chains. Look a little closer, though, and Manor Walks has a small group of local, independent shops tucked between the big names, and there are a few more in the older villages around the town.

We checked each shop below against its own website or its page on the Manor Walks store directory in November 2026. Opening hours can change, especially in the run-up to Christmas, so check before making a special trip.

Independent shops at a glance

Anna's Floral Design

Anna's Floral Design, listed in the Manor Walks directory as Anna's Florists, is at Unit K1 in Manor Walks and has been trading for more than 25 years. It is an independent florist and a member of the Interflora network, and it offers same-day delivery on orders placed by 1pm.

At the time of writing the shop opens from 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm on Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturday. It is closed on Sundays. Call 01670 735852 or order through its website.

Best for: The place to go for flowers, with a long track record in the town.

The Town Gallery

The Town Gallery is a small art shop at Unit 29 in Manor Walks. It sells prints and original paintings by local and international artists, priced to be affordable, and offers a bespoke framing service for your own pictures, photographs and prints.

Opening hours are not listed online, so call 07850 795438 before you make a special trip with something to frame.

Best for: Worth a look for a housewarming or wedding present, or to get a favourite print framed.

V&N Jewellers

V&N Jewellers is a family-owned jewellery shop at Unit 91 in Manor Walks. The business says it was established in 1995, and it also has a shop on Market Street in Blyth. You can call the Cramlington shop on 07507 108910.

Best for: A long-running family business for gifts and special occasions.

The Cramlington Cobbler

The Cramlington Cobbler at Unit 89 in Manor Walks handles the small jobs that are hard to get done anywhere else in town: shoe repairs, key cutting, engraving, watch batteries and straps, and house signs. It also offers a 24-hour locksmith service for house and car keys.

The shop is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sundays. Call 07708 481123.

Best for: The one to remember when you need a key cut or a heel fixed.

Collectables

Collectables at Unit 66 in Manor Walks is one of several shops run by a family-owned North East gift retailer, so it is a regional business rather than a single shop, but not a national chain. It stocks gifts and home accessories from brands such as Yankee Candle, Joma Jewellery, Willow Tree, Wrendale and Charlie Bear.

It opens from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

Best for: A reliable stop for birthday and Christmas presents.

Beyond Manor Walks

A couple of independent food and pet shops are worth knowing about outside the shopping centre:

• Dixie's Treats on Market Street in Dudley opened in 2026 next door to Dixie's Dog Grooming, selling natural dog treats, toys and a few things for cats.
