Cramlington Register Office
Northumberland County Council register office in the Community Hub on Forum Way, where deaths and births are registered by appointment.
About Cramlington Register Office
Cramlington Register Office is one of Northumberland County Council's register offices, based in the Community Hub on Forum Way in the town centre. Deaths are registered here face to face and by appointment only, which you can book through the council's website or by calling the registration service on 0345 600 6400. The council asks families to register within five days of the medical certificate reaching the registrars where possible.
There is no charge to register a death. Certified copies of the death certificate cost £12.50 each, and the registrar also issues the certificate for burial or cremation and a reference for the government's Tell Us Once service. Other Northumberland offices that register deaths include Ashington Town Hall and County Hall in Morpeth. Details were checked in November 2026.
