Cramlington Learning Village is the town's secondary school, an academy on Highburn for students aged 11 to 18. Cramlington uses the two-tier system, so pupils join from the town's primary schools at 11.

The school was selected for the government's School Rebuilding Programme, and work on the new buildings began in September 2025. Its sixth form offers A level and BTEC courses. Admissions are coordinated by Northumberland County Council, and the latest inspection report is on the Ofsted website.
