Best Takeaways in Cramlington

Where to get a takeaway in Cramlington, from an Indian at Southfield Green and pizza shops in Mayfield Glade and Kielder Avenue to Chinese takeaways in Klondyke, the Brockwell Centre and Annitsford.

Cramlington.live·

Cramlington's takeaways are spread across the estates rather than gathered in one street. Most sit in the small neighbourhood shopping parades: Glenluce Court at Southfield Green, Clifton Road in Mayfield Glade, Front Street in Klondyke, the Brockwell Centre on Northumbrian Road and Front Street in Annitsford. This guide covers seven independent takeaways, from curry and Chinese to pizza, chicken and kebabs, then the chain branches. Fish and chip shops have their own guide, sit-down meals are in our best restaurants guide, and for pubs and cafes see our eat and drink hub.

Takeaway hours and delivery areas change often, and many only open in the evening. Check with each takeaway, or on its delivery app listing, before you order.

Red Naga

Red Naga is an Indian takeaway at 6 Glenluce Court, Southfield Green. Alongside the usual curries, its menu has a set of signature "Naga" dishes at different heat levels, and set meals for one or two. Its best-known deal is the Thursday Night Feast: six courses chosen from the whole menu, every Thursday, at £16.50 a head at the time of writing.

Its own website gives opening hours of 5.30pm to 11pm every day, closing only on Christmas Day. You can collect, or have it delivered for a £3 charge (minimum order £10.50) across Cramlington and to Blyth, Bedlington, Killingworth, Seaton Delaval and Seghill. Order online or call 01670 734020.

Best for: Six courses on a Thursday night without leaving the house.

Chick Pizz

In the same parade at 7 Glenluce Court, Chick Pizz sells fried chicken, pizza and kebabs. It is a local business with other branches in the area, including West Denton and Wallsend, and local press reported its arrival in Cramlington as the second takeaway for a fast food business from Seaton Delaval.

It delivers through Uber Eats as well as doing collection, and it holds the top food hygiene rating of 5, last confirmed in February 2026.

Best for: Chicken, pizza and a kebab from the same counter.

Top Pizza

Top Pizza is a pizza takeaway at 4 Clifton Road, in the Mayfield Glade shops. It is an evening takeaway, and its Uber Eats listing shows it opening from 4pm every day. It is well reviewed there, and it holds a food hygiene rating of 5.

Best for: A pizza for the Mayfield and Klondyke side of town.

Dice Pizza

Dice Pizza is at 26a Kielder Avenue. It delivers through Uber Eats with its own drivers, and it has built up plenty of reviews there. Its food hygiene rating is 5, last confirmed in April 2026.

Best for: Pizza from a neighbourhood shop, delivered by its own drivers.

Cramlington Chinese Takeaway

Front Street in Klondyke is the nearest thing Cramlington has to a takeaway row, and the food hygiene register lists several there, including Wai Ho, Fortune Garden and Bellissimo Pizza. Cramlington Chinese Takeaway is a Chinese takeaway on the same parade, with plenty of customer reviews on the listing sites. It holds the top food hygiene rating of 5, confirmed in May 2026.

Best for: A Chinese on Klondyke's takeaway parade.

Lotus House

Lotus House is a Chinese takeaway in the Brockwell Centre on Northumbrian Road, the shopping parade by the Brockwell roundabout that also has Home Bargains and a Papa John's. Its food hygiene rating is 4, from an inspection in September 2026. Reviews are mixed, with plenty of regulars but some complaints about delivery orders, so collection may be the safer bet at busy times.

Best for: A Chinese to pick up with the rest of the Brockwell shopping.

Annitsford Tandoori

On the southern edge of town, Annitsford Tandoori is an Indian takeaway at 11A Front Street in Annitsford village. It holds a food hygiene rating of 4, from an inspection in December 2025.

Best for: The local curry for Annitsford.

The chains

Most of the big names are in or around Manor Walks. There is a Domino's, a Burger King and a Subway in the centre, and a McDonald's on Forum Way, with a second McDonald's elsewhere in town. Papa John's is in the Brockwell Centre on Northumbrian Road. Cramlington has no KFC; the nearest are at Blyth Valley Retail Park and in Wallsend.

Tips for ordering

  • Check the hours: most independents open in the late afternoon or evening, so a lunchtime order is unlikely.
  • Delivery areas: each takeaway sets its own area, so a place across town may not deliver to you. Collection is often quicker on a Friday or Saturday night.
  • Hygiene ratings: every takeaway in this guide is rated 4 or 5 by the Food Standards Agency. You can check the latest rating on the FSA website before you order.
  • Allergies: ask the takeaway directly about allergens before ordering, rather than relying on an app listing.
