Best Pizza in Cramlington

Where to get a pizza in Cramlington, from neighbourhood takeaways in Mayfield Glade, Kielder Avenue and Southfield Green to a sit-down pizza at Sambuca or Panuccis, plus the Domino's and Papa John's branches.

Cramlington.live·

Cramlington's best pizza mostly comes from small neighbourhood takeaways tucked into the estate shopping parades, rather than from the town centre. Three independents cover most of the town between them, and if you would rather sit down, two restaurants have pizza on the menu alongside pasta. The national chains are here too. This guide sorts them into takeaways, sit-down options and chains, so you can pick by mood as well as by postcode.

We checked each one's own website or delivery listing and its Food Standards Agency hygiene record in November 2026. Takeaway hours and delivery areas change often, so check the app listing or ring before you order.

The takeaways

Top Pizza

Top Pizza is a dedicated pizza takeaway at 4 Clifton Road, in the small Mayfield Glade parade. It is an evening shop, and its Uber Eats listing shows it opening from 4pm every day. It is well reviewed there, takes collection orders as well as delivery, and holds the top food hygiene rating of 5.

Best for: The pizza for the Mayfield Glade and Klondyke side of town.

Dice Pizza

Dice Pizza at 26a Kielder Avenue is a neighbourhood pizza shop. Orders are taken through Uber Eats, but the deliveries are made by the shop's own staff, and it has built up plenty of reviews. Its food hygiene rating is 5, confirmed at an inspection in April 2026. It is not connected to the separately rated Dice Pizza in Newburn.

Best for: A pizza delivered by the shop's own drivers.

Chick Pizz

Chick Pizz at 7 Glenluce Court, Southfield Green, sells pizza alongside fried chicken and kebabs, so it suits a household where not everyone wants the same thing. It is part of a small North East business with other branches in West Denton and Wallsend. It delivers through Uber Eats as well as doing collection, and holds the top food hygiene rating of 5, confirmed in February 2026.

Next door at 6 Glenluce Court is the Indian takeaway Red Naga, if the family vote splits between pizza and curry.

Best for: Pizza, chicken and a kebab from one counter.

Pizza with a sit-down meal

Sambuca

Sambuca in the Glasshouse at Manor Walks is the only Italian restaurant in the town centre, and the easiest place in Cramlington to sit down to a pizza with a glass of wine. It is part of the Sambuca restaurant group and serves pizza and pasta from midday every day, closing at 9pm Monday to Thursday, 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 8pm on Sunday.

It has a children's menu, step-free access and an accessible toilet, and takes bookings for groups of up to 30 (call if there are more than 12 of you). With Vue Cramlington a short walk away, it is the obvious choice for pizza before a film.

Best for: The family pizza in the middle of town, open at lunchtime.

Panuccis

Panuccis is a family-run restaurant in Smithy Cottage on Smithy Square, in the old village. It calls its cooking Mediterranean, and the menu reflects that: a pizza section including margherita, calabrese and marinara sits alongside Italian pasta dishes such as carbonara and lasagne, Greek dishes like lamb kleftiko and chicken gyros, and steaks and fish.

Its website gives evening opening from Wednesday to Saturday and a Sunday lunch service. It holds the top food hygiene rating of 5, from an inspection in March 2025. Book on 01670 714444.

Best for: A pizza in a cosy village restaurant, with plenty for those who would rather have something else.

The chains

Cramlington has a Domino's in Manor Walks and a Papa John's in the Brockwell Centre on Northumbrian Road, both with top food hygiene ratings of 5 at their latest inspections. Both take orders through their own apps and websites, which show live delivery areas and current deals.

Tips for ordering pizza in Cramlington

  • Check who delivers to you: each independent sets its own delivery area. If your nearest shop does not reach you, collection is usually quick.
  • Evening opening: the independent takeaways open from late afternoon, so for a lunchtime pizza head to Sambuca or order from one of the chains.
  • Allergies: ask the shop directly about gluten, dairy and other allergens before ordering, rather than relying on the app listing.
  • Hygiene ratings: every pizza place in this guide was rated 4 or 5 by the Food Standards Agency at its latest inspection. You can check the latest rating on the FSA website.
