About Seaton Delaval Hall

Seaton Delaval Hall is a Baroque country house designed by Sir John Vanbrugh for the Delaval family and completed in the 1720s. Now cared for by the National Trust, it has formal gardens, woodland and parkland walks, and a cafe, and sits off The Avenue near Seaton Sluice, a short drive east of Cramlington.

The hall runs seasonal events through the year, including a Christmas programme of family theatre, choirs, live music and craft sessions. Admission prices and opening days vary by season, and National Trust members go free; check the National Trust website before visiting.
