Cramlington.live·

Cramlington has one big party venue in the town centre, Concordia Leisure Centre, which offers several kinds of children's party under one roof. For something different, a soft play centre in Bebside and a farm park near Morpeth both run party packages a short drive away, and the town's community centres are an option if you would rather bring your own food and entertainment. This guide covers each one, using details from the venues' own websites.

Party packages, prices and availability change often, so please check current prices with the venue before you book. Weekend and school holiday dates can book up, so it pays to enquire early.

Concordia Leisure Centre

Concordia Leisure Centre on Forum Way is run by Places Leisure, and its family pages list four kinds of children's party: swimming parties, sports parties, soft play parties and bowling parties. That range is useful if you are planning for a mixed group, or if your child has outgrown soft play but still wants a party with friends.

The soft play is a four-storey, jungle-themed frame with a separate toddler area, and its 90-minute sessions are for children up to 12. The centre also has eight bowling lanes, and Places Leisure says it hosts children's bowling parties at Concordia. There is a Clip 'n Climb climbing arena in the same building, so it is worth asking what party options are available for older children who want something more active.

Party bookings are made by phone on 01670 620200 rather than online, so ring to check which party types are running, what is included and the current price per child.

Best for: Best for: one-stop parties in the town centre, with a choice of swimming, sports, soft play or bowling for different ages.

Kids Town, Bebside (near Blyth)

Kids Town is an indoor soft play and role-play centre at Horton Manor in Bebside, on the edge of Blyth and a short drive east of Cramlington. It runs two kinds of party. Shared parties give your group an hour and a half of play alongside other customers, followed by a cold or hot buffet, and its website lists prices per child for each. Exclusive parties give you the whole venue for up to 30 children, in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages, with extras such as a mascot visit and glitter tattoos on the higher tiers.

A non-refundable deposit secures the booking. Kids Town also runs SEN sessions with lower noise and fewer children, so if your child prefers a calmer setting it is worth asking whether a quieter party arrangement is possible.

Best for: Best for: younger children who love role play, and families who want exclusive use of a soft play venue.

Whitehouse Farm Centre, near Morpeth

Whitehouse Farm Centre is a farm park near Morpeth with animal handling, tractor rides, an indoor soft play called Farmer's Den, outdoor play areas and a cafe. Its party list is the most varied of any venue near Cramlington: Animaltastic, Dinosaur, Magician, Build your own Bear, Reptile and Mini Beast, Mini Keeper and Pony parties.

The farm closes to day visitors over the winter, and its website gives 11 February 2027 as the reopening date, so it is one for spring and summer birthdays. Check the individual party pages for what each theme includes and the current price.

Best for: Best for: animal lovers, and themed parties that give children something hands-on to do.

Community centres

If you would rather organise everything yourself, with your own food, games or a hired entertainer, hiring a community hall can work out cheaper than a package. Two in Cramlington are already in our directory:

Ask each centre whether rooms are available for private parties, what the hourly rate is, whether there is a kitchen you can use, and what time you need to be cleared out by.

Best for: Best for: budget parties and families who want to choose their own food and entertainment.

Tips for planning a party in Cramlington

  • Ask what is included: some packages include food, party bags and a host, others are play time only. Check whether adults count towards the numbers.
  • Check the age range: Concordia's soft play is for children up to 12, so it suits primary-age parties, while bowling and climbing can work for older children.
  • Think about the season: indoor venues work year round, but the farm is closed in winter.
  • Deposits: most venues take a deposit to hold the date, and it is often non-refundable, so confirm your guest list before paying.
  • Allergies: tell the venue about any food allergies when you book, not on the day.
